Laboratory “Samsung Advanced Information Technologies Research Joint Lab”

The Laboratory “Samsung Advanced Information Technologies Research Joint Lab” was co-founded by Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv

and «Samsung Electronics Ukraine Company” in 2011 y.

The Faculty of Cybernetics of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv set up a research team in «The Laboratory for Development of Innovative Decisions in ICT» (Head – Dr Vasyl Tereschenko). The Laboratory team is composed of 3 doctors of science, 6 candidates of science and 11 researchers. The advanced undergraduate students are also involved in the Laboratory research. Currently there are 4 of them in the team. Also, we involve the best students of faculty in research projects of our Laboratory. We have skilled performers: algorithms developers, programmers, mathematicians.

The team members have positive experience of participation in the following projects:

2011-2014. Projects founded by Limited liability company «Samsung Electronics Ukraine.

«Algorithm of Online Handwritten Symbols Blocks Recognition on Mobile Devices».

«Realistic Morphing Algorithms for mobile devices».<

«New types of geometric objects representation and large mesh deformation optimized algorithms».

«Optimal classifiers selection for object recognition» (15.09.2011- 15.12.2011)..

«Development of algorithms for editing (transforming) 3D surfaces (section and composition)» (15.10.2011 – 15.12.2011).
